Have just received a letter from the Rigton insurance firm telling me they offer bus breakdown cover to the value of £15,000 per year. Their annual premium is £80, the same as Autohome whose cover is limited to a maximum of £1,000. I and many of my bus preservation colleagues have used Autohome for some years as we were unaware of Rigton's far better deal. The Rigton man tells me they also cover recovery from the continent for a premium increase - I don't think Autohome offer this feature. I know where my breakdown premium will be spent next year! For those interested the Rigton phone number is 01943 879539. I'm sorry if this sounds like an advert, but the deal is so much better I felt it was well worth passing on.

I have this breakdown insurance and have done for the last 3 years. I have used it when someone filled the fuel tank of 2719 with water!

I can solidly recommend this policy and will continue to use it whilst it is still available
