Re: Curly Handrail and more required please

There's a chap called Fred Reader in waterside industrial estate, Trumpers way Hanwell. London W7.

Fred is a pipe maker and can replicate almost any shape of pipe.

He is also Ex Park Royal Vehicles and set up his business after purchasing the original pipe and tube tooling and machinery from PRV when it closed.

What he can't do is replicate the cast items. But there are some very good engineers out there who can replicate some castings from solid metals and clever tig welding.
I have no number for Fred to hand but he should be in directory enquiries.

He is thinking of retiring soon so if you need new correct piping for your RM from the original source don't leave it too long.

Re: Curly Handrail and more required please

Hi Claire,

It is the handrail that is on the nearside of the lower saloon as your mount the platform, it curls around on itself hence "curly handrail"
