Expensive RT

I've just been told that an open-top RT has changed hands for euro65,000 on German eBay!!

The gearbox failed just after delivery; the false floor had been fitted over the gearbox trap, gearbox oil never topped up for 10 years, even more expense!

My bus number (if any): RML2532 Keeping Europe's Routemasters on the road.

Re: Expensive RT

People including me laugh when Philippe Grit talks about 25 000€ for an RT but the fact is there are not many about on the continent. Mind you that price is ridiculous, they could have had early bodied RM 58 at a reduced 35 900€ on leboncoin
