MOT changes now in force

The long expected MOT changes for all vehicles are now in operation with effect from 20/3/2013. There are many new reasons for failure. The VOSA website lists the new testable items. The Class V test has been brought more into line with the PSV test in some respects with more checks on the body. Of note is that the condition of the brake wheel cylinder gaiter and bellows now becomes a reason for failure.
