There are some RT blinds for sale on ebay just now Adam.

My bus number (if any): RM967 (Driver & Restoration Consultant), bus is owned by Tom Ireland

Re: RT Blind Sizes

Thx Graham

Unfortunately the listsings does not have the sizes like the rmroof (http://www.rmoof.co.uk/Routemaster%20Destination%20Blinds%20and%20Advertisement%20Sizes.htm) page does for RM blinds.

I need to make some more inserts for the Summer in the City Vintage Bus Tour.

Is the Destination blind the same as a RM,NN?

Route via blind - is bigger then a RM one did that have a code?

Large number blind - MM

Not too sure about RT/RM Dest blind sizes Adam as it's two years since I had to bid a fond farewell to RML2271, the bus I had for over six years, what I WILL do is send you David Thrower who owns an RT and RML's email address, he should be able to help you compare sizes.

Pagination....there's a word you don't see everyday, and far simpler than the foliation system!

Re: RT Blind Sizes

I was asked this recently and have to admit I have completely forgoten about RT, Merlin and RF sizes and am getting a bit vague about RM sizes and codes.

Would be a rather useful resource for these to be posted like those of the RM even though this is not officially an RT or RF etc site

Re: RT Blind Sizes

If I can find a way of putting the chart on here so it makes sense I wil. I can E mail anyone who wants it as it's contained in an E Mail.

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RMC 1458 RM 1585, (M 961, M 271 - both sold) and several RTs

Re: RT Blind Sizes

Will be good to have on this site as it's got some quite good info resources now. Any one will always know where to find it.

Re: RT Blind Sizes

Tried posting it Jack as a ms word chart and excel, doesn't work I'll send an e-mail to Chris, perhaps he can add it.

Re: RT Blind Sizes

Brian Watkinson has supplied the sizes for RT blinds as follows

Code - Description - Width - Depth - Number/Text size
A - Route number (front or roofbox) - 13.5” - 10.5* - 7.5”
AA - Canopy number - 13.5” - 6”* - 5”
B - Front intermediate - 33” - 20” - 5”/2.5”
S - Side and rear - 33” - 20” - 5”/2.5”
E - Front Ultimate - (non Roofbox) - 42” - 6” - 3.5” or 4”**
V - Front ultimate (Roofbox), Rear Ultimate - 33" - 6” - 3.5”or 4”**

* Later produced blinds were made in pairs and even triples, depth shown is for a single panel
** Test size is given as a guide and depends on length of destination. For example ALDGATE;TOOTING;VAUXHALL are 4”, LIVERPOOL STREET STN; WANDSWORTH BRIDGE are 3.5”
Destinations particularly on V blinds were also abbreviated more. eg STATION to STN

I'll try and get this information onto www.rmoof.co.uk soon. Bravenet have raised their price for hosting the ROOF forum from $39.99 a year to $199 a year and I'm not inclined to pay this which will mean it will close in four weeks. I'm looking for an advertisement-free affordable alternative solution.

My bus number (if any): RMs 238, 471. 2213 & GS17
