This is possibly the most carefully dismantled RM ever!
RM 510 was very carefully stripped back to a basic frame by apprentices over a period of several weeks to become a most unusual exhibit at the Aldenham Works open day in September 1983. I took these pictures over a week before the event (on 15 Sept) and I can`t imagine much more could have been removed in the days thereafter.....
