AEC sump wanted

Has anyone got a complete sump for an AEC 590 to fit a Routemaster? A client in Belgium has recently had a piston go through the side of his engine. He has another engine but no sump!

That makes 5 AEC engines I know that have gone bang this year!

My bus number (if any): RML2532

Re: AEC sump wanted

Can't he take the sump off the duff engine?

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RMC 1458 RM 1585, (M 961, M 271 - both sold) and several RTs

Re: AEC sump wanted

Yes but it has the additional embellishment of a con rod through the side!

Re: AEC sump wanted

There are at least two RM's at PVS with engines still fitted. Although all the auxillaries are gone they both have sumps.

My bus number (if any): RM 912
