Is this a roof forum?

A meeting point for a lot of roofs? In varying states of paintwork wear judging by this shot of just a small part of the Sales Department compound. It was still possible to get up to the Drawing Office of the former AEC Works and I got this picture by hanging out of a top floor window on September 29th 1984. I would estimate that only around a tenth of the withdrawn stock on site is on view here which gives an idea of how much was there.

Good to see the HST in the background too; the railway's version of the Routemaster? Still going strong after nearly 40 years service, though re-engine and refurbished several times!

My bus number (if any): RML2532
