The end of RM 714

No prizes for guessing what caused the withdrawal of an otherwise fairly tidy RM 714. I don`t know the circumstances of its misfortune but this picture was taken at Bus Sales in the old AEC works on Sept 22 1984. The bus was collected for scrap by PVS a few weeks later on Nov 7th.

It was delicensed at Brixton on !8 September 1984. That sort of damage suggests it was hit by another bus. Maybe Tony Jeff can remember.

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RMC 1458 RM 1585 and several RTs
