upholstery foam

Hi...does anyone know a source of foam for RM seats? Also it is sold to the correct shape? Thanks, Ian.

My bus number (if any): rm446

Re: upholstery foam

Southern foam near Crawley can make them to order, can't remember the exact address but will let you know next week, I'm off to the Isle of Wight Steam and beer festival for the weekend.

My bus number (if any): RML2532

Re: upholstery foam

I've used Foam for Comfort, they have a CAD programme to cut the foam to the original shape. Was very pleased with them.

Re: upholstery foam

Southern Foam were 50% dearer when I last got a quote,we used Peter Dewson of Doddington near Faversham, also good are Martins Upholstery Supplies of Mereworth near Maidstone. All foam cut to shape. Dawsons supply Arriva.

You will also need 3" 6lb reconstituted foam for the edges unless you have the old edges, if you don't use this the ends get rounded,

My bus number (if any): RTL 960 RMC 1458, RM 1585 and loads of RTs
