moisture absorbers

As we reach the time of the year when the rally season ends and many preserved buses are parked up, and possibly not in ideal conditions, can I recommend a make of moisture trap that has worked very well on my bus over the past year. I`ve been very surprised at the results.

It`s a Unibond Aero 360 for which refill tablets can also be purchased. Although available at various hardware outlets, it is presently at a much reduced price in Robert Dyas stores. £9.99 for the unit which comes with a tablet - and £4.99 for a refill pack of two tablets. How long each tablet lasts will depend on how hard it has to work but several weeks is likely.

Does anyone have any thoughts on, or experience of, buying a big enough length of pond liner to lay on the floor and actually park the bus on? I`ve heard it said that it would be a barrier to damp coming from the ground but I`d be keen to hear the advice of others before going ahead!
