The mass withdrawals of RM`s in September 1982 saw the vehicles concerned selected months in advance. But any bus not `on the list` that subsequently suffered a failure became vulnerable.
Here`s RM 1451 sandwiched between DMS`s 201 and 156 in Walworth Garage on Aug 9th 1982. With bits already robbed, it didn`t run in service again and departed for scrap to Norths just over a year later.
