Fuel line Bolts

I am looking for a couple of bolts that secure the fuel line that runs along the top of the engine. Tough to explain, but I have photos if anyone can help. Wish I could post them here.

This bolt is an awkward size and there's nothing like it here in the US.

Thanks!

Re: Fuel line Bolts

Do you mean the bolts which fit into the top of each injector and secure the arc shaped leak off rail between each injector, or the long bolts which go through a clip and secure the straight leak off rail to the rocker cover and at the same time secure the rocker cover itself?

The former are special banjo bolts which you should get from a fuel injection specialist. The latter you will have to measure the length form bottom of hexagon head to the end and post back. Some will be threaded 5/16" unf and are about 3" long which should be available in the USA. Others will be the same length but threaded 5/16" bsf and are available from this company by mail order:

Re: Fuel line Bolts

It looks like I need the banjo bolts. I'll run it by my mechanic. But, he seems to thing they cannot be obtained in the US.

What is the size of this banjo bolt?

Thanks!

Re: Fuel line Bolts

CAV part number 0095315 is a common one for this application normally although not guaranteed, often to be found on Perkins engines, so try Massey Ferguson network.

Re: Fuel line Bolts

Looks like you'll need some new tops for the injectors if the thread's damaged.

Re: Fuel line Bolts

Thanks Roy for the info. Those banjo bolts seem to be readily available.

I'm sure I will have to replace all those copper parts eventually. Can I get those easily?
