London Transport Board

The original London Transport Executive apparently became the London Transport Board on 1st January 1963 then reverted to London Transport Executive on 31st December 1969 so presumably the legals on the buses were all changed during this period so the main RML batch when new would have had 'London Transport Board 55 Broadway London SW1' in white capital lettering on them ? Many thanks in advance

My bus number (if any): RML 2747

Re: London Transport Board

Yes, new transfers were fixed on all buses leaving Aldenham in January 1963 and temporary transfers were applied to most buses in service changing Executive to Board. It was changed back to Executive in 1970

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RM 1585, RMC 1486 and several RTs
