Horn not working

Can any one help pls , the horn on my GS has stopped working ...when I press the button the rely clicks but no horn .. When I checked the wires at the horn there is no live feed ?

My bus number (if any): GS15

Re: Horn not working

Hi Michael - Is there a fuse or break in the wire between the relay and horn - can you rig a temporary feed from the relay to the horn to isolate this possibility ?

My bus number (if any): RML2747 Gash DD6

Re: Horn not working

The horn is fed from a small relay next to the voltage regulator. Check the wires there. I've read the need for this arrangement was that
LT thought the current taken by the horn would burn out the horn contacts over the years, but logically thinking the amount a horn would be used it's hardly likely to happen. I by-passed the horn relay on mine years ago.
