Re: Forum Statistics

Hi Chris - perhaps it's inevitable that there are fewer questions as we all get more knowledgeable from the great advice given here! Also I suspect there are fewer new private owners needing advice as our buses get more expensive. It's really very helpful to have the expertise here anyway and also interesting to read the other items about historical aspects. Keep up the good work Chris and everyone!!

Re: Forum Statistics

I agree with Brian, although I don't post/reply as much as I did when I first purchased my routemaster, I do check the forum everyday (when I'm at work that is, avoiding work of course, its less when I'm not at work I have a life honest).

I doubt its recorded in the right format to see the figures by year, but would be interesting to see the total number of views posts got each year.

For example 'Memory Lane' since 3rd Jan there have been 748 views of the post in 17 days. Although it is unlikely there has been 748 different viewers, the fact is the post has been viewed by the same people over and over in high numbers. This gives a good indication of how much the forum is still used, I think at least.

I for one are very glad we have a resource like this forum and it has helped me out so much in the last 4 years. I dare not to think how much this forum has saved me in time and money when sorting out issues on my RMF.
