Throttle dip

Hi Gents, can I remove the air valve on the throttle linkage and put a plain threaded rod on there instead?

My bus number (if any): RML 2353, MB 306

Yes, quite a few of us have done that. Just cable tie the throttle dip valve out of the way somewhere.

Do you know what size the rod has to be? Is it 5/16 BSF?

Metric I suspect as the engine is built to metric.

Yes all done, with 2 mini ball joints and 10mm threaded rod!!
