Resilvering light units

Hello all, and suggestions of a company that can open up a fog light and re-silver the reflector. Or is it a no win situation due to the way the glass is fixed to the back. Regards Mark

For my fog light, I opened it up myself and sent the reflector off for re-silvering. However, if it is corroded any more than surface rust, then it is likely to be scrap.

I can dig out the contact details of the company that I used, if it will help.

Re: Resilvering light units

Thank you for quick response Andrew. To be honest i've not even attempted yet to open up as there on the 'to do job' list, any tips welcome. I actually have two to choose from and both appear to be reasonable condition. Although one has filled with water in its past and stained the glass itself. I hope to make one good one out of them assuming the metal is not to far gone. regards Mark

I have some brand new (still in sealed boxes) headlights that came from Wandsworth after they sold their RMAs (so had no need of them). They're the smaller twin headlamp type, two designs - main beam, and dip.
