Colour for seat frames

I'm refurbishing the interior of RM471 and wondered what colour the seat frames should be painted.

The colours I've stripped off include pink, red, maroon and burgundy!

My bus number (if any): RM471 & RM 2213

For original spec, they should be the same colour (maroon gloss) as the rest of the interior paintwork, although they would have been originally stove enamelled and you might be able to get back to that with wire wool as other coats will have been brush painted and should come off fairly easily.
