accumulators

Hi all......Hebble Hudraulics Huddersfield HD7 5BB will repair units for £200 plus vat. Re-sleeving is avilable for corroded units. regards Ian.

My bus number (if any): RM446, RM765.

Re: accumulators

Hi Ian

That price seems a bit catch all to me, what does the £200 include? I say that because if you only need a new valve and a top up say the £200 is a perhaps a bit steep. However, if you have corrosion etc or need a complete new one its a good price by today's standardsds. Imperial used to do off the shelf service exchange replacemens of the tube ones, where you didn't get yours back irrespective of what was wrong, do these people repair your own ones do you know?

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RML 2667, RM 1585, RMC 1458 and 14 RTs

Re: accumulators

Brian....The quoted price £200 plus vat is for new seals, test, and certify, on your own unit, not service exchange. In the event that the inner is corroded they will re-sleeve at an quoted extra cost of £60. These prices are subject to VAT and correct at December 2nd 2008. They state that it is rare to find corrosion. They do not supply a new Schrader valve. Contact name at Messrs Hebble is Grahame, tel 01484 846688. Regards Ian.
