Hi All,
I'm a new owner of a '73 Columbia 26. My wife and I have some experience fixing up sailboats, but this will be the biggest project yet. Can you give me some input on what you'd make sure to take care of?
Also, I'm not please on how the keel/hull joint looks. The boat has been trailered for a few years and the leakage from the the hull plug has caused a bit of rust to form on the keel itself. No big deal there - I can handle that. The keel bolts are not corroded and give a nice solid ring when tapped with a hammer. What is your best opinion on how to proceed here?
