Decision 2015

Now is about the time serious candidates should start thinking about getting a campaign started and pulling papers for the big election this November.

I believe all of the Alderman seats are up for re-election, along with 3 school committee members, the Mayor's seat, and an override will be on the ballot.

For those who believe we need a change:

Where are the serious candidates?

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Re: Decision 2015

Without a strong Board of Aldermen, we have few checks and balances. The majority of aldermen might as well
be wearing a radio helmet like Tom Brady as the Mayor calls in the plays and offers them some "photo ops".

Yes, very much like School Committee, with the exception of Carrie K.

That's the problem, if you want the support of the "machine" at election time you trade your soul. Now its a small town with Chicago style politics. Too bad, it used to be such a nice little place.
