Boisselle Retirement?

There was a notation in the April retirement newsletter congratulating Bob Boisselle on his retirement. What's up with that?

Re: Boisselle Retirement?

I have no idea. If he retired from his day job it would have nothing to do with the Retirement Board, and I haven't heard anything about his leaving the Board of Aldermen. Can you take a City retirement based on years of service as an Alderman and still remain on the Board? Maybe the rules are different for elected officials, which wouldn't surprise me at all. I know you can take a regular retirement from an appointed position, like fire, police, schools, etc, and not be subject to the same employment restrictions if you then secure an elected position. It's an interesting question.

Re: Boisselle Retirement?

Isn't that what Peter Mortimer did a few years ago that caused so much controversy?
The BOA should not get health insurance benefits or a retirement pension!

Shouldn’t they be getting health insurance through their full time jobs ?

Why people voted "No on the Override" and will do so again, if Illegitimate Gail attempts increasing taxes.

Re: Boisselle Retirement?

The Placeholder Infurna better not attempt to put an Override on the Ballot. The SC keeps crying no $ but voted to give Taymore $180K as she continues to look disinterested, bored, label people/kids and throw around the BS and jargon. If the City needs more cash then eliminate paying health insurance and retirement payments for current and retired Aldermen. There is a certain pot of money and people must be honest and transparent on how it is spent. What do we value? People CANNOT afford more taxes. Trust the Felon to be ethical about spending others cash? Trust Jen McA who lied during the last Override Campaign? Trust the school business manager Farrell who hides off camera? What else is she hiding? The "Delta" will unfortunately require cuts! Trust the BOA who installed GI as an Illegitimate Mayor? Both national political parties have little use for the DC government and even less for each other. Voters all over Melrose wanted Dolan to resign and a special election to be held. Wonder how things are going in Lynnfield?

You're kidding, right? Not selling will end up making you hundreds of thousands of dollars in the long run. Real estate prices keep going up. Whatever your complaints are with the current administration, they don't seem to be convincing people to not move here.
