The BOA approved $65K in free cash for road work on Upham Street on Monday. Four days later, they told residents that D&R will begin the work a week later. This is record time in the history of world governments.

All contracts over $10K are supposed to be awarded through a competitive bidding process, but I can’t find any indication this work was bid out.

Does anybody know how this works?
