Planning and the Mayor.
Another Melrose institution lost the Mayor and planning office have worked out a deal for more apartments in town the VFW at the Highland is closing and a five story building with a bar/restaurant is planned on the station side. A former Stoneham selectman and the old Felecia’s from stone ham will run the new Bar as a tax exempt charity.
The Mayor and his friends can ride their bikes there.
Looks like an excellent spot for more intensive development.
Why isn’t the private developer paying taxes like the rest of us? Planning office off the record refers questions to Atty Lucas.
It is time to make these fake nonprofits pay their fair share.
Fantastic, more space for moonbats to move into from Somerville and Cambridge. Maybe the first floor can be: 1.) Insurance Agency, 2.) Bank Branch, 3.) Real Estate Office, 4.) Hair Salon, 5.) Mexican Burrito place.
Tax Exempt charity? Are you sure??? How awful.
DO NOT LET THE BEHAVIOR OF OTHERS DESTROY YOUR INNER PEACE. I have been there and they are not nice people. A person's actions will tell you everything you need to know.
