Say it isn't so. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights finally looking into the institutionalized intimidation and retaliation against complainants here at Melrose Public Schools? Who knows more about this? Anyone?
Keep your eyes out for the Free Press, Melrose Weekly and Boston Globe North section of the Sunday Globe.
Gee, what a surprise, nothing yet but the Army of Invisible Voters sure are active.
Ordinary people feel it's a troubling sign that the Feds are investigating Melrose, yet 'Detector' appears to deflect attention from that with insults aimed at people who are rightfully concerned about the schools and their children's education in them. Perhaps 'Detector' could use those energies better detecting what needs to change for Melrose to improve best.
One suggestion for positive change here would be to discuss the merits of the arguments only, and not throwing insults. There are those from both sides, presumably adults, who engage in embarrassing, juvenile behavior and name-calling on this message board. If you have good points about issues, they should stand on their own merits, not on ad hominem attacks. It's not necessary to your cause, and certainly not helpful to throw bombs and insults. Doing so only diminishes your apparent standing and makes others question your motives and unbiased ability to reason. Please, no more name-calling, labeling or mis-characterization of people who seek to make Melrose better through discussions here about important things. Perhaps some good can come from this message board so that all here can be proud of participating instead of feeling somewhat dirty.

You're got lost and are in the wrong place - start your own message board if you want that, but don't let any Melrose people post.
