A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

I have to give credit where credit is due. Seeing EOC step up in opposition to closing public participation after that lunatic chair shut down GM was somewhat encouraging.

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

And later seeing LDS oppose approval of checks that had no description or documentation.

oh, you mean the "NASCENT" member

Good grief!!!! What an a$$ (another one!). Good call on the checks, but such obvious posturing and egotism. Dangerous that one. Almost as crazy as the chair. And EOC likes to hear himself talk almost as much as JD.

nas·cent
ˈnāsənt,ˈnasənt/
adjective
adjective: nascent

(especially of a process or organization) just coming into existence and beginning to display signs of future potential.
"the nascent space industry"
synonyms: just beginning, budding, developing, growing, embryonic, incipient, young, fledgling, evolving, emergent, dawning, burgeoning
"the nascent economic recovery"
Chemistry
(chiefly of hydrogen) freshly generated in a reactive form.

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

JD: praises superintendent for having a checklist of items that are federally mandated because CT violated federal laws. WTF? COMMENDED HER! This is truly Looking Glass psychedelic material here. COMMENDED THE SUPERINTENDENT for including mandated punishment in the To Do list for the staff. Just beyond crazy! CT should be fired outright (along with PWL) and all except one of the original SC members should be recalled. That is the only reasonable thing in a world where common sense and any kind of justice at all still holds. But watch those hypocrites with their hands on their hearts facing the flag and saying their meaningless pledge.... Melrose has completely lost whatever mind or conscience it had left!

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

Yes, heard NASCENT at least 3 times. Such pretentious posturing.

Talked to a young mother who attended and observed LD verbally assault GM out of the blue, totally unprovoked. LD is explosive and dangerous, oh yeah, and NASCENT. She's been known to flip her lid on numerous other occasions. So between Margaret's hearing her Angels Singing and the anger management issues of NotAnotherDimeRob and Liz (and MD! and CC! and certainly CT!!!!), well, it's a fun bunch. And then there's Mr. OrangeSuitEd who thinks he's a Legitimate Big Cheeze now. Lord help the idiotic community for putting these whackos in charge! Last night several were definitely not on their meds.

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

It really isn't funny. These School Committee Members just marched right past the heinous actions of their sole employee (yes, we know the one exception, that goes without saying now). They carried on as if their agenda actually means something, as if it is anything but a game and a showcase to continuously polish their public image. Their employee--CT, and her team of lawyers, asst. superintendents, principals--were found guilty by the Federal Office of Civil Rights, not only of creating a racially hostile environment but then conspiring to prevent a real investigation from occurring, forcing the victim to be repeatedly harmed in numerous ways (including being forced to be interviewed in the same room with the accused history teacher--yes, history teacher, and one with a law degree to boot!--and not even allowed to have a parent present), then tried to blockade this student from being moved to a safe classroom where he could expect not to be taunted racially, and the crimes move on from there and continue through the present, where the conspiracy of silence is being nurtured by this school committee and this community. That teacher and THIS administrative team led by CT BROKE THE LAW, in heinous manner, and THEY ARE STILL EMPLOYED! It is just inconceivable how this can be the case, frankly.

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

Unfortunately, OCR is the (current) tip of the iceberg in the expanse of management issues across the system for many years. Simple proof of that is the long list of superintendents and principals who have come and either escaped or retired out of the mess.

Re: A Glimmer of Hope Perhaps?

Is that realllly you Bob?
Gosh I miss the good old days.[:)]

Yes, lunatic chair, EOC stepping up, as it were, No, not so much. Did you hear him extol on how "we are all to blame...must take responsibility" crap last Tuesday? Nice attempt (failed) to disrespect the one member who most certainly is NOT to blame and who might have been one of your few allies, but sure, go ahead and publicize your absolute complicity in the proven illegal and unethical actions of that miserable school committee. You want it Eddie, go for it.

What a fool! And we're supposed to believe this guy is anything other than the crooked narcissist he so obviously is! And what foolishness of Melrose to vote in this guy! But then again he's in perfect company (almost) with that nefarious bunch in the half shell. Then there's the "nascent" one (did you hear her articulate that about her herself over and over again??! Absolutely ridiculous.)

Gawd, our poor students and teachers!
