Driscoll and Taymore are hypocrites. They both want the world to believe they have an open mind. The opposite is true. Here is what they said this week.
Driscoll, "A constructive dialogue is needed..."
Taymore, "There is always room for dialogue and debate in government..."
Both of them refuse to participate in dialogue or debate. After the April 2014 incident, they wouldn't even talk to parents or students who recognized the illegal activity against the student. They buried it under 'confidentiality' concerns. Also, watch any school committee meeting to see how open they are about dialogue or debate.
You are not telling us anything the entire City of Melrose doesn't already know.

Absolutely they are hypocrites. They couldn't care less about what is right, even when one of the highest adjudicating bodies in the country came down on them like the proverbial ton of bricks. They shame our entire community as do their supporters.

Quick! Get Jaime McAllister to City Hall asap for a swearing in before the voters know what happened! If we have her sworn in early on Monday morning, Kraunelis won't have any time to file a complaint or request a review with the AG's office. I know Kraunelis has notified us questioning VBC's biased cereal box interpretation of the city charter, but just ignore him. Meanwhile, we'll contact our new PR firm and our friends at the local papers to do our dirty work. It will all be done before the voters know what hit them.

Ya think they could have gotten an unbiased third party interpretation on this issue instead of relying on the city solicitor who's pay is entirely dependent on his boss, Dolan? Ya think VBC should have used a legal dictionary definition of "preceding" rather than using a layman's definition that "implies immediately before"
And not surprisingly, Ms McCallister-Grande apparently is doing exactly what she's told already, instead of showing some character and class and refusing to be sworn in until an unbiased opinion cold be gotten.
This gets better and better by the day! Wait until word gets around that on top of everything else, Melrose now has an MEF'er on the SC. You won't be able to hire anybody but bottom of the barrel candidates who struggled to make a GPA of 2.0. Excellent! All we have to do now is sit and wait for all the good candidates who refused to even consider Melrose, not that there are that many of them anyway. It's kind of fun watching you supercilious jackasses go down in flames. LMAO! Idiots.

SC already had a gaggle of MEF'rs. Liz got her backing from the Yes/MEF brigade and is totally indebted to them, as is Jess. Margaret thinks she runs them. Chris makes nice with them. Rob uses them as his personal lobbying group and attack dogs (you remember Martha now, don't you?), and all of them are basically joined at the hip, doling out the $10,000 a year Rob "appropriates" for MEF for their fake "grants" and tromping around town abusing propriety and decency every which way. Plenty of the BOA are in their pockets and vice versa, also.
Jaime is the one who got that Improv group for Cyndy that failed so horribly at the middle and high schools, which was inappropriate (for a superintendent to be paying $2 grand to an organization that a current candidate for school committee used to work for/with and recommended) on both of their parts and a complete failure, only adding to the racial tensions. But she's the darling of the "library media specialist" broken record failed override cabal. If she allows herself to be sworn in before the appeal at the Secretary of State's office is heard, she will be demonstrating her total lack of regard for due process and ethics, arriving under a stain and further unworthy of trust.
Heard that the administration is portraying itself as the pathetic victims in all of this. These people truly have no shame! It would be laughable if children and our city weren't being so hurt by the abuse and corruption.
She has one chance to take the high road and wait for a non-biased legal opinion from the AG's office. But will she take the high road?
I shouldn't even do this - since it's in my best interests to see Melrose become a place where no decent teacher or administrator would ever want to work, but......
I call your attention to the recent student walkout in Boston. 2000 kids, one walkout - "BOSTON (CBS) – Days after thousands of Boston students walked out of class to protest millions of dollars in proposed budget cuts, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said officials have found a way to avoid reductions at the city’s high schools."
Since I am a 60's child, let me remind those of you who have forgotten - civil disobedience works. Just sayin'.
