Did you read the article in today's Boston Globe - North Section - on CKK's resignation? Taymore was quoted and of course our illustrious, "I hear voices", Chairwoman, Margaret Driscoll, was also quoted - She said that she wanted to see "constructive dialogue" and welcomes a new member to the Committee. Wow - given that former Committee member Carrie Kourkumelis struggled to obtain a "constructive dialogue" on educational issues from the Committee for the past 10 years - Driscoll's words ring hollow.

Margaret Driscoll, Christine Casatelli, Jessica Dugan, and especially Mayor Dolan should be ashamed of themselves for the current state of education affairs and their lack of transparency and truthfulness in the OCR cases - including proposed budgets that lack clarity and honesty in portraying the real cost of education in our city. It now appears that lawyer costs will eat up more of our budget in the years again because of the incompetency of our school administration and school committee which will negatively impact our kids! What a disgrace to our community!
