Boston Public Radio

Jim and Margery focused on Melrose yesterday during the opening 20 minutes of their daily show on WGBH Radio 89.7 FM.
Another proud moment for the MPS and Taymore. It made us look ridiculous and the poster child for a failing school system with incompetent leadership.

Re: Boston Public Radio

If I had never learned how to lose, I never would have learned how to win. Most likely the best educational experience of my life.

Re: Boston Public Radio

Made Boston news for no longer having valedictorian too

Re: Boston Public Radio

WBZ Guest host, former State Treasurer Tim Cahill also was discussing Melrose last night. Interesting thoughts shared by the callers. Melrose is known for stupid decisions by our SC and MPS "Leaders". See what they come up with at today at the Lincoln School and the hire of an unqualified and uncertified school business manager . The underperforming HS Principal, Farrell has now been promoted to a position she has never don or been trained to do!

Re: Boston Public Radio

Hysterical! Dolan's college buddy Cahill just took a giant dump on Melrose. Doughboy must be seething this morning. Wish I was a fly on the wall.

Guess what? Excellence matters. Without it being recognized and celebrated, we have no benchmark for achievement or potential to aspire to. Why bust your butt if you know it doesn't matter? What we're building is a generation of underachieving wimps who have no coping skills for dealing with disappointment or failure. A prior poster is 100% correct - you must learn how to lose before you can learn how to win.
