Agreed - and the sooner the better! Our kids deserve better.

Melrose takes awhile to wake up and hopefully not to long at the Roosevelt. That school is falling apart, because of who CT has running it.

This superintendent needs to go along with Margaret Adams. They came together from Malden and they can leave together. Go to Wilmington they are looking for a new superintendent.

Already to late the super and MA can't stand each other anymore. PWL no love

loss with her and CT.

The damage is already done with all the law suites she has caused!!!

This group needs to go, but the problem is no one wants them.

CT and PWL will never be able to find jobs in another district. The risk to a school district is too great with their history of OCR violations and other misdeeds..unless they find another district as foolhardy as the Melrose School Committee to hire them. They were forewarned by former school committee member Carrie Kourkomelis but did not heed her warnings.... Oh well...

They will retire with full pension plus benefits from Melrose. The hope is next time someone competent will be hired. Depends on the SC at that time. If the public keeps electing unqualified people, the schools will continue to get the superintendent & administrators that they deserve.

Suggestions: Stop voting for SC candidates that are running to benefit themselves. Running for enrichment for their families, not the community. Stop voting for candidates that don't know or understand education.

The basic problem is that qualified people do not want to run! The most qualified person who cared more about the kids and who didn't have a vested interest got so fed up with a lack of support from committee members to change things - she left (CKK).

Every time there is going to be an election of new members, the local "in groups" will put up people like we already have - example K. Throp & Don left and Ed, Liz and Jamie joined the corrupt crowd and vote like lemmings. Dismal future for educational excellence in Melrose - thanks to the incompetent and arrogance of a few major players on the committee as well as the self-serving others!

Lesson to be learned: Change The Superintendent .It is time fire her.

Melrose Schools moral is at an all-time low. I have worked here for 20 plus years, been through the ups and downs various superintendents and principals. This administration encourages dissension among coworkers. People who we considered friends are now stabbing each other in the backs to get ahead. We are a revolving door and who suffers the most? Your children. We are supposed to be teaching students academics, social skills and conflict resolution. How can shunning commence with a vengeance and continue until you can't take it no more. How can that be accomplished when we are poor examples encouraged to do so by Cyndi Taymore and our principals. Shame on this administration that employees are made to behave in such a reprehensible way just to survive here and save our jobs. If you don't follow this directive the ramifications of retaliation. Sad but true...

Love when the super is coming to your school for a surprise visit. Well, CT the principal tells all the teachers so it looks so good. Last laugh on CT.

I believe superintendent Taymore is going to be fazed out soon.

I know super is away next week so maybe its the start of her disappearance. PWL is now back and will just be doing her job she was hired for in 2007. The other part she did will now be handled with a city attorney. Maryjoe has now been removed. Must have been a money situation somewhere.

Please move on and take your cabal of misfits with you.
