The following message was recently sent to Middle School parents on Wednesday:
A message from MELROSE MIDDLE SCHOOL
Dear MVMMS Families,
Today I was alerted to an incident that occurred yesterday after school where two MVMMS students were approached by an adult in a vehicle. The behavior exhibited by the adult was concerning enough that the families of the students reported it to the police. The Melrose Police Department is investigating the incident.
Due to this reported incident, I felt was important to communicate the information with all families.
Please take this opportunity to remind children to be alert and aware of surroundings, and to ignore and run away from suspicious strangers.
Contact the police or us at school if you or your child encounter anything out of the ordinary.
