I think school is for teaching/learning, not "holidays". I don't recall doing anything for Halloween years (many!) ago, and do not feel the worse for it. This whole issue appears to be being blown WAY out of proportion, particularly when compared to ANYTHING of importance!

Well thank heavens the non-issue issue about Halloween is over at least for another year!

Now we can get to a real issue, getting rid of the "Red Raiders" moniker!!!!
