The pipe is very long and the position is slightly different...say outside Poi Toi... and outside Lamma is different.

I once asked people in the Hong Kong Electric Company for a map of submarine cables to see what is near my home as ordinary sea charts are not detailed enough but the people there were very guarded, saying that they could only provide it to companies carrying out related projects.

It seems that ordinary citizens have no right to ask for information from big companies affecting public lives.

I would also love to have a DETAILED map of submarine cables in HK.
