i own a seadoo model, run 80-90km in choppy sea, 105km on glass water (top model run 120-130km), 55L fuel tank cost around $800 (legal fuel)
enough to spin a full date, normally burn $400-500 per trip, anywhere from saikung to tai long wan or aberdeen. goggles is a must item to protect eye, face skin was press down when full throttle. 3 seater model is more suitable for HK sea, 1-2 seater best in lake

if you take yr own risk, try some BBQ site near castle peak, they hv some for rental. again, all is yr own risk, i do not recomment. it is illegal & against the marine law.

There is a Company having jet ski for hire (about $1500 per half day).
I find that a half top dry suit would be warmer than a wet suit when I was sailing many years ago in a wet boat. Those suits are usually available at some windsurfing and boating shops. It's also suitable for general boating purpose in winter. YOu may take a look in those shops.
