Re: Sendall Tunnel

Due to heavy rains, a portion of the hill at the exit of the Sendal tunnell (north) came down. That is the area of the St. George's Presbyterian church. The tunnel is blocked to vehicular traffic but from all report it structural integrity is intact. I am on a mobile device so I am unable to post pics. Check out my facebook page for pics

Re: Sendall Tunnel

Greetings! Sir.Dog,

So nice to see the returned of familiar posters to what seems to be "the more kinder and gentler" environment of the shop. But I am waiting here with baited breath for the appearance of good pal, DNJ and my political nemesis and friend, Tony DeCoteau to start fretting me, as the POTUS/my POTUS has begun to pelt some bombs in ISIS tail.

I notice how they had lock jaw when Putin walked in and took Crimea .... just so!

But those two are sure to find some "caca-da" in History to remind us. Maybe this time they will bring up Marco Polo and kubley I khan....who knows.

Walk good !me Bruddah

Re: Sendall Tunnel

Art,

I recall that during the last Mitchell administration, the much touted "second phase" of the De Sarvy project had proposed a revitilization of that area, encompassing the Tunnel and its immediate surrounding area. This was being championed as the cornerstone of the administration's "economic upliftment program" and gave plenty of employment hope to the Grenadian people.

Do you know what has become of this?

In light of the fact that it never came to fruition under the Thomas administration and now seems to be unmentionable by this new one begs to ask if we had missed another opportunity. Also, in light of the fact that De Sarvy now seems to be engaged in a divestiture strategy away from the once promised creation of a "world class" marina for that entire area, are you prevy to any information regarding this?

Thanks

VJ L

>>>>>.......ole age is ah ***** boi<<<<<< Lol

You have the nerve to complain?
Just think how Tony and the rest of dem fellas an dem feel....lol

To ease the pain, always preceed your comment on questions with "If my memory serves me correctly" and you will feel a lot better. Never say "you do not know", it implies that there is an acute form of mental illness at work here from which there may be no recovery; particularly when it is always being reinforced by the Lady of the house on a regulay basis.

But if you is ah true Gouyave Man, you can make this memory loss thing work in your favor when dealing with the Missy. When in doubt, Just ask her " how she know if what she saying you cannot remember is true" and remember there is a product called Purina. It is the best dog food on the market, just add a little milk to it and you are good for breakfast and lunch but for supper? You on yourown, me bruddah!

On subject,

Yes! the casino was part of the revitalization package proposed but dem Hutu's and dem got into power and wanted to re-negotiate the plan hence it got stalled.
