On the subject of Presidents, I heard the tape yesterday, with regard to the Grenada invasion - I cannot believe it is 30 years ago - someone tell me that I am wrong!

The last international news with regard to Grenada was the Olympic Gold medal, and now the remembrance of an unpleasant event in our history.

I remember seeing a cartoon of the invasion in a newspaper, of a large elephant with one of its foot slightly off the ground, with a mouse in the gap!

A question for Forum authors : What were you doing or where were you when you heard the news about the Grenada invasion? I cannot really recall what I was doing, but I do remember, pondering on the 'new' meaning of the word 'backyard' - the island was in their backyard, why not their front yard!

All I can say is : God bless and protect Grenada and all its citizens both on the island and scattered amidst other countries. Amen.
