Many of us probably read the current Obituary and skipped over the name Martins Onikute because there seemed to be no obvious connection with Gouyave.
Click on "Read More" and be prepared for a real shock to learn that the deceased is none other than the son of our own Kathleen "KP" Peters Onikute, the daughter of our beloved and iconic Cuthbert "Chauff" and his wife Ellie Peters(RIP).
My shock was made even greater as I was about to call KP to give her my address for a Saturday get together. I did call her, but instead it was to offer my sincere condolences!
Once more, deepest sympathies are extended from the DeCoteaus to the Peters-Onikute family on their loss.
