Nathan Julien also known as “Lugaru” & “Suku” died
Never mind how iconic one is, sooner or later we all will pass on. We used to think that Suku would forever be the anchor in the Gouyave defense. But then Buxo will be so happy to be reunited with his old teammate again!
At a function in Brooklyn some two weeks ago, his sister told me that she doubted that Ligaroo will still be alive when she returned home, so his passing did not surprise me.
To all his family and friends, please accept deepest sympathies from the DeCoteau family. He will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

Nathan Julien AKA Lugaru was a soccer hero! He was one of a trio of defenders - including Buxo and Figs - who were dependable in protecting Gouyave's pride on the soccer field. On and off the field, he was mild mannered, always smiling. My thoughts are with his family.
