Miss Chin developed her love for music at the early age of six years old when she witnessed other great acts such as Whitney Houston, Micheal Jackson and Jay Z. She only started to take it up as a career at the age of twelve, when she developed confidence from winning the Tasty's compitition in Jamaica where there were other hot young talents performing. She saw that she had the potential to become something big in life, which was to her, a musician. She got herself involved with many different people, trying to find a group of hip hop/r&b artists she thought would make it, but when things kept going wrong, she decided to move solo.
