Stupid is as Stupid Does.

When asking some questions about faster diffs for Routemasters in this forum's market section, I received some helpful advice for which I am grateful. I also received a reply from Roy which included, "

So is the latest revelation desperately stupid or stupidly desperate?

The Routemaster is a unique vehicle which many love, and it is that love from the general public which makes it collectable, and desirable to use at special occasions.

At the head of this forum we are asked, " Please do not use this board to publicise your feelings about individuals,"

People come here to get advice from people who have a genuine knowledge and love for this iconic vehicle, not to have their lack of knowledge ridiculed. Yes some will restore their 'beauty' to original perfection while others will treat their Routemaster as an aging work of art. What they all have in common is an affinity for something special. Something difficult to define.

I beg you, please put up with the stupid people doing their best to learn here; resist the urge to point out their stupidity, and perhaps reflect on the fact that it is the common person's desire to learn and understand it which gives this vehicle much of its value in the first place.
