Scarborough Bus?

I haven't got much information about this but my daughter-in-law has asked me if I know of a vintage bus owner in the Scarborough area who might be prepared to "follow the hearse for the funeral of a bus enthusiast". I don't off hand but does anyone else please? Don't think it has to be a Routemaster.

My bus number (if any): RML2302

Re: Scarborough Bus?

Carl Ireland in Hull will have contacts in the area. He's well known for his bus exports and the like. I don't have his number to hand but is email is carlsbus@yahoo.com i think!

Re: Scarborough Bus?

If carl cannot help Brian, get someone to post on the AEC Society page on Facebook, there are lots of preserved AEC buses, not necessarily RMs up that way, Brian Maquire isn't far, he has many contacts, however, short notice could be a problem and it's all a bit vague....

My bus number (if any): RTL 960, RMC 1458, RM 1585 and several RTs

Re: Scarborough Bus?

Thanks Brian, that's very helpful - I need to get more info from my daughter-in-law...
