Very pleased to see that it is still possible to communicate on the ROOF forum which I stumbled across accidentally by clicking on an old link. I had thought that the forum was defunct and can’t really understand how the website has gone but the forum is still running?! Who is moderating/paying for the the forum?

Re: ROOF

I think there's at least 3 of us who contribute, myself, Brian Watkinson and I can't remember! Age is a wonderful wotsit.

Re: ROOF

Chris Dobbing has retired Brian.
LondonBus France, Roy Gould, Rob Duker and Tim Barrington have funded it and I am running it. The ROOF website was Chris Dobbing's, so that has gone, but most if not all of the info on there is available still on the Forum.

The Forum continues to have a wide knowledge base thanks to its contributors, all of whom have worked on, own or maintain Routemasters and use them as opposed to them corroding away in a barn in Essex...

Re: ROOF

Great, thanks Brian. I had realised Dr Chris had retired and saw his announcement that he was looking for someone to take over as Moderator but hadn’t realised until now that anyone had taken up the job - thank you everyone for keeping things going!
