These bolts are bad and TBH didn’t know what I was getting into. I’m going to haul out soon but should I just recycle or donate the boat? The head in the keel bolts are corroded and can make out a shape of a nut but brown and rust is the color.
I saw a guy who drilled into his (lead) keel knowing we have cast iron right? I did read that flange type isn’t what we have these bolts go directly into the keel. I like this boat and believe in it I just don’t wanna pay $$K’s
