Just bought a 1976 Columbia 26' MKII. It is docked in
Deltaville, VA. It's our first sail boat and we have a lot to learn. We'll be checking out electrical and plumbing systems in the coming weeks and will have lots of questions. The diagrams are hard to read but hopefully, with a magnifying glass, we can find what we need. We haven't even seen the bilge yet and boy are we ever scared of what we'll find. After reading about the Columbia, we're really excited to be owners. We're so glad to find this forum to share the highs and woes.

I bought a 1976 26 foot MKII online in September ,while in Iraq, it is also in Deltaville, Va. Have you had any work done there? I only had 1 chance to get down to see the boat due to military duties. I had sent in 3 online quote request's and have not heard back since october. It seems at one point they tried to donate my boat for a charity auction. Otherwise they seem to have a great marina.
