Re: BOA vs. City Council

Hey, its the tough guy clown. Boo Boo got his feelings hurt on an anonymous blog and wants to get in a fist fight over it. Go work out your aggression by mowing your lawn and cleaning your basement. Typical white trash Melrose messages bozo...oh, and STFU.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Psychoanalyst, do Clown Nation a favor. Sit Monica Medeiros down on the couch and ask her why she won't run for Mayor. She has run for two separate offices at half the pay. She is the head of the Republican City committee. She lives in her parents house and is making no money. Isn't it her duty as a Republic to run against the Democratic tyrant Rob Dolan. After all she topped the ticket as Alderman at Large. The City is going to throw Dolan out based on all the blank votes he got, right? She's a ready made candidate. You are a bunch of cowardly lions. A pathetic bunch of clowns. You hate this guy but you stain your undies every time an election comes up and then run behind some BS excuse like the charter to explain why you chicken sh*ts talk the talk but can't walk the walk. Enjoy Dolan for life and every four years tell us how many blank votes he got.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Did Dolan give you the day to correspond to Melrose Messages.

What is your problem with someone living with their parents.

It is Monica's choice whether to run for mayor or not.

With your repeated statements about mowing the lawn and painting our homes

who the hell are you to judge others.

You are a DOLANITE

Re: BOA vs. City Council

The more this fool "Clown Patrol" posts, the more it's beginning to look like it isn't some Dolan acolyte, but that it might be Dolan himself. This is exactly, and I mean EXACTLY the way Dolan sounds when he goes off on one of his nasty tirades, which lately have become more and more frequent. It's getting harder and harder to keep a straight face.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Pathetic

Now that you mention it - it does sound like our Mayor! Hey Clown Patrol - come clean - are you Mayor Dolan? That was of course a rhetorical question!

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Wild Fire should be thanked for acknowledging the obvious. The head of the Melrose Republican Party, leading vote getter among Alderman in citywide vote, and aspiring career politician Monica Medeiros chooses not to run for Mayor against the incumbent Democrat. The truth will set you free. Unfortunately Wild Fire came up short on the rest of the post, falling back into the tired and only comeback by the Bozos when criticized "You must work for the Mayor", or even more pathetic, MFD's contention that you must be the Mayor.

As stated earlier, the two biggest frauds perpetrated by the Bozo Brigade are:

1) The City charter prevents anyone from running against Dolan
2) If you don't agree with the MM losers you work for the Mayor.

It's ok to say it. Let it out now. Medeiros won't run, not because of the fantasy land charter excuse, but because she would get her @ss kicked and she knows it. You fools need to stop making excuses. Get that big community coalition meeting off the ground. Walk the walk you cowards. Stop acting like a bunch of cry babies...or STFU.

Like every Politician, Dolan has run his course. The only reason he gets elected is because no one runs against him. And don't give me that "it's because they're afraid" crap. People have lives, they can't just drop them to do something as serious and busy as run for Mayor. Rob didn't have much going on when he ran, and frankly, still doesn't. He inherited a city 12 minutes away from the state capital and has three train stops to boot (4 if you add oak grove). It was only a matter of time before people noticed the hidden gem known as Melrose. Sure he may have made a few chess moves here and there to get the party started but our resources and proximately to the big city are what has everyone moving here NOT one man. Get over yourself clown.

As for Monica, she would most likely beat Rob Dolan of TODAY. No way she wins 5 or 6 years ago, but today, no doubt about it. The override failure was the writing on the wall for Robbie. 2 out of every 3 residents said **** off. Only dweebs like you voted for it. Rumor has it we will have our answer next time around, I hear Monica is running.....

Does clown patrol stalk the people who post on this board?

The only person who identifies himself is MFD. Should he be worried that clown patrol is apparently targeting him? I don't know where MFD lives but it's creepy that clown patrol keeps raising private house issues when someone is commenting on problems in city or schools. Perhaps MFD keeps his house in impeccable shape and clown patrol simply seeks to denigrate him to others as shallow as she is?

As above, many times prior clown patrol has insulted people based on supposed issues of grass mowing, house painting and now basement cleaning. So petty and shallow - explains quite a lot about the quality of the person and all the irrational posts. Always quick to accept the company line no matter how obviously false.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

You haters. Every time a post is made in favor of Dolan or the city the haters on this board say it is from the Mayor or a city employee. Really???? Were you paying attention a few years ago when the issue of a raise for Dolan came up? It was the biggest crowd the chamber ever had. This city gives Dolan overwhelming support. He is a powerhouse politician and we are lucky to have him. As has been said; we don't want a part time Mayor. This has been a full time position for decades and that should continue. It is Dolan's job as long as he wants it.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

I believe that it is an unhealthy situation for any city to have the same politician running the city for 20-30 years! It doesn't give others, perhaps with more experience or with more energy, to get an opportunity to add their creative or unique leadership to governance of our city. Having career politicians is definitely not a healthy situation for democracy - which only builds an elitist class. There is such a thing as a "political machine" that gets stronger and stronger the longer a politician remains in office - particularly when this person influences a charter change which, in the end, favors his re-election year after year. I do not think that a city our size should not disqualify people for Mayor who have outside business interests. The Mayor does not need to be full time job just as our state reps and senators should definitely not be full time jobs - and all positions should have term limits - period!

Term limits should be at all levels of government. Whether it's a hack or a successful politician, I don't care, they must go. Everything you said is true. And I'm not talking about Dolan here, he's small time. When you are high up in government, you do become untouchable. Look no further than Hilary Rodham Clinton.

The poster a few spots up was spot on. He did not bash Rob Dolan, but was very frank and to the point. He inherited a place with all the pieces, just needed to put all the pieces together, and all in all, he has done that. Schools and crime could be put on more of a pedestal, but outside of that the guy has done pretty darn good by us.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Ahhh...Waka, Waka, Waka. And booyah! And STFU, all of you jack wagons!

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Clown Patrol off his meds again.....Time to call his therapist.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

You fools do realize if you stop responding to him, he will eventually go away. You do know this right? STOP RESPONDING TO HIM! If you don't reply back to his non sensical posts he'll get bored and go away. And even if he doesn't go away, who cares! He's a troll, this is what he does. If you reply to a troll you get what you deserve, a long , useless, drawn out conversation. You can't convince somebody who is messing with you. Clown patrol I'll hand it to you haha, you got these people good! Reeled em' right in like a nice big bass!

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Term limits are important at all levels of government as posted above.

Staying in office year after year allows you to bury the evidence of bad behavior budgetary or otherwise because there's no one coming in to shine a light on what you're doing.

Patronage jobs become a problem with the seekers having to show unquestioning allegiance to the same political machine year after year so no shake up or boat rocking. Ever.

Melrose is not lucky to have Mayor Dolan.

Mayor Dolan is lucky to have Melrose. It's unlikely that he would hold of job with this kind of power in private industry, other government work or another community.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

Isn't it something that those two sloths MBMM & GI went to Europe for three weeks during all of the problems with the water billing this spring but have been working behind the scenes on this & slandering MM for having other write her motions? Pathetic.

Re: BOA vs. City Council

The old fat ladies need to go. Term limits!
