Just went on the City of Melrose Assesment page to check what Gail Infurna pays for her Real Estate Taxes. She is demanding the rest of us (who make far less than she does) to make a decision to pay more RE taxes for the Override. Who owns the condo she lives in at 12 Mt. Vernon Street? City records have “no results” when her name is entered for a property ownership search? She sold her house on Boston Rock Road last year and moved to the condo she has owned and rented for a few years. Why does the Assessors page of owners respond with “No Results” when her name is entered? Is she a tax evader just like Trump? What game is she playing with her own taxes and property. Who owns her condo?

As much as I think she's a complete lightweight, totally useless, and a pawn for Doughboy the Melrose Mean Girls, there's nothing unusual there. It's common practice for public officials to do this. It offers a measure of protection against lawsuits.
And for the record, if you had used the correct search parameters, you could have found that out yourself. Your speculative comments are way out of line. We're looking for facts, not unfounded speculation.
The person seeking information about what GI pays for her property taxes made mistakes with the Assessment Search tool. Trying to find out what GI pays probably comes from being worried about family finances and their ability to pay. People who were represented (not) by GI for decades live with her indifference, laziness and lies every day. Ward 5 was not well represented on the BOA. Hearing her recent talk of “legacy” regarding the Override, makes us laugh and cry !!!!
It is a garbage comment. Let's rely on the plethora of facts we do have that show why this override should be defeated.
