I am just curious as to why Honey Dew abruptly closed and now Lisa and her sister in law are reopening as ice cream shop. I thought lease was too long ? It shows on Alderman agenda that they both own shop.

She wanted a new challenge? She’d prefer to sell ice cream? She didn’t want to be a franchisee anymore and wanted control her own business? She’s giving up caffeine?

I wondered the same thing because the Honey Dew closure was so sudden. Maybe they lost the franchise rights and had to cease & desist?

Good luck to her though. I see people in the MCG requesting vegan (it's ice CREAM) nut free by opening a new container every time & a bunch of other requests that make me shudder.
