How to ruin Franklin Square: build an ugly building that overpowers the other buildings, and doesn’t fit in at all with everything else around it. Have you driven down Franklin St. from Stoneham and come upon this ugly monstrosity staring you in the face.

I don’t live in the area of the Square but wonder if there was any opposition from the area residents? Although, it’s too late now.
Big mistake!

Just one man’s opinion.

It's still under construction, but it's no "monstrosity" but right-sized for that location in terms of height and mass, even if we're not used to it. The single story Franklin Market building it replaced at the corner was if anything woefully underusing the potential for that location.

I'm assuming that this is referring to the building under construction (sometimes!) in the Highlands, not Franklin Square.
