Re: Teacher’s actions under examination

Karma - thank you for quitting. As an adult,if your reaction to bullying is to turn around and quit; the schools don't need people like you so thanks for quitting.

Re: Teacher’s actions under examination

I have to agree with "Thanks Karma". Teachers have a legal obligation to file a 51E complaint with DCF when they suspect a child is being abused...by a parent OR a teacher OR an administrator.. Where was Karma when she witnessed these cases of abuse?

Re: Teacher’s actions under examination

51A is the mandated reporting. 51E is the retention and security of the report.

Hate Crimes in Melrose
""Any time it comes to the city’s attention that there has been racist or anti-Semitic graffiti or anything discriminatory, nothing is taken more seriously," Mayor Rob Dolan said."

Yes Rob: It is taken so seriously by you and the district that the superintendent, city solicitor and some of our "snappy" principals will actually violate the law and retaliate against and intimidate complainants to scare them off in an effort to cover up the violations. Fortunately for the community (although unfortunately for you, the super, SC chair and city solicitor), some times victims are brave enough to brush aside the illegal retaliation and end-run the school administration and the toothless Mass Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) by going directly to the U.S. Department of Education. Thanks to the brave souls. No thanks to you and the gangsters.
